Christopher Columbus was born in Republic of Genoa in 31 October 1451. Columbus was exploring for Asia wanted to find trade routes. He wanted to get to Asia fast so they could get there faster so they could trade faster and to make more trade routes. He set out from Spain to Asia in 1477.
